Mumbai Attacks - A Lesson To Learn And To Teach
Monday, December 1, 2008, 04:22 PM - Straight From The Heart

Some time in the future.
The terrorists has attacked Vidhansabha in Mumbai and killed 7 MLA's.There are still hiding in there and have kept ransom 5 MLA's and demanding the release of the terrorists which are in Indian prison.STF and NSG teams have reached.News channels are covering this news continuously for last 4 hours. Indians are watching it with more interest. Some news channels are showing how we failed to tackle the issue of terrorism last time when the terrorist attacked Taj, Oberoi(Trident), CST(Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus) killing more than 200 people.Again the Government is blaming Pakistan for the issue and stopping bilateral trade and peace dialog, air, bus and railway travel has been frozen.Again some ministers are going to loose their posts and the cycle will continue of same events.

You need not be Fortune teller to tell this story.Only the time line will be fixed by ISI and Lashkar-E-Toiba and Al-Qaida.They know that Indians are getting used to this, Indians cannot do anything on this.As the Aam janata wants answers from Government and wants Government to do all these tasks.Middle class is there only for getting their daily wages. We elect these heads to keep us in peace, give us security from internal and external forces, to spread the prosperity so that the country will remain in bright, more people will get jobs, to keep economy in good condition. But these people are busy in other things doing corruption, amassing more money and fighting for the power.

If we(our Politicians) were not able to give them the answer when our parliament was attacked then this was nothing. The attacks will happen again and again until
the moral of the terrorist(and the heads of ISI and Jaish, Al-qaeda) does not get weaker.Their confidence level is rising and if we do not gave the answer to them, then
every time the casualties number will rise from 200 to 300 to 500 to 1000 and only the names will change in the casualties list.

They fight for Islam and they say that they die for God but the history has said that Islam was used only for keeping some leaders in Power. And it will be used by some people for their
their profits. They have many differences internally in Islamist organizations worldwide.Every Islamist organization has different rules(that can be a separate topic to discuss). After the collapse of Russia in 1990s the Taliban started thinking that with Gun and powerful weapons they can rule the world and regain the strength Islam has lost in 20th century. Some Islamists think that the oil reserves they got in East Asia are because God wants the Islam to rule over the world. But these heads cannot think that these oil reserves will end in just 30-40 years and after that the world economy will not be run on the oil but on other resources.

If we have to close this whole issue then we have to attack the terror camps in Pakistan and Afghanistan. If they can use Google Earth to find our locations then why we cant use them to find where they are hiding.International pressure will be there on us but if we have to end all this then this is must.Find out the root cause and then eliminate that root cause.

Otherwise be ready to see next incident of Operation Cyclone or Operation Black Tornado on TV or be the victim of that incident. And this does not apply to the common man only that can be any politician in India.

I will not condemn the attacks on Mumbai as it was our responsibility to not give the enemy the next chance to attack us.Here we have given him full control to attack us.

I am posting here the components of LMS and their features. It will be in two parts.LMS is a network management solution available from Cisco. The main protocol used by LMS is SNMP.
You can do various tasks from LMS and the users who are not very much familiar with CLI of switch and routers can do almost all of the tasks from LMS apart from monitoring.I have taken the LMS version 2.5 for the feature listing. There may be more features in LMS 3.1

The components of LMS are
Campus Manager
Internet Performance Monitor

Tesing UTP cable problem with TDR tool on Cisco switches
Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 12:04 PM - Cisco
Posted by Administrator
To test the cable length and problem in the UTP cable we can use this good tool. The tool name is Time Domain Reflectometer.
To test the cable we have to give the command

switch>en
switch#test cable-diagnostics tdr interface gigabitethernet 13/37

TDR test started on interface Gi13/37

A TDR test can take a few seconds to run on an interface. Use "show cable-diagnostics tdr" to read the TDR

It will give the output as above and then to get the results we have to give the command

Switch#show cable-diagnostics tdr interface gigabitEthernet 13/37

TDR test last run on: November 19 11:55:41
Interface Speed Pair Cable length Distance to fault Channel Pair statu
--------- ----- ---- ------------------- ------------------- ------- ----------
-
Gi13/37 1000 1-2 26 +/- 6 m N/A Pair A Terminated

3-4 27 +/- 6 m N/A Pair B Terminated

5-6 27 +/- 6 m N/A Pair C Terminated

7-8 26 +/- 6 m N/A Pair D Terminated

Switch#

here in the above example interface is Gigabit 13/37 Speed is 1GBPS cable length is 26 meters. If there is any problem then in the result it shows the distance at which the fault is there(like cable cut)

You can get more info on TDR this wiki link.
